MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.

General Application

Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

This MI-FLEX Pot Hanging Cowl in Terracotta finish, designed for 125mm flue liners, represents the epitome of chimney protection. Compliant with the latest BSEN standard, this cowl is engineered with an integrated rain cap and bird guard. Not only does it facilitate chimney liner installation without pot removal, but it also acts as a shield against bird intrusion and rain damage. Positioned atop the chimney pot, it expertly bears the liner’s weight and is secured to the flex using the standard jubilee fixing method (refer to installation instructions).

The MF20 MI-FLEX accessories offer a comprehensive range of fittings tailored explicitly for MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. Together, they create a complete, high-functioning chimney system.

Terminals:

Primarily utilized to prevent water, Vermin, and Birds from infiltrating the flue. For appliances lacking a condensate drain, installing a terminal is crucial to halt excess water from passing through and returning to the appliance. Pot hanging cowls offer vertical weight support for the flue liner and the chimney pot structure, necessitating a structurally sound chimney with intact pots and appropriate flaunching at the stack’s apex.
