MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

These items are intended to be used alongside MI-FLEX Multi-fuel flexible flue liners. To comply with Building Regulations Document J, flexible flue liners must be fully enclosed within a masonry chimney. They are suitable for appliances operating at temperatures up to 600 degrees (T600 designation) and are compatible with Wood.
Terminals:
Terminals, such as this Rain Cap, primarily prevent water ingress and protect against Vermin/Birds entering the flue. This cap, along with other components, contributes to maintaining a structurally sound chimney system. It is essential to ensure chimney pots are in good condition without cracks and appropriate flaunching is in place at the stack top.

Maintenance:

Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys. Routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance should occur at least annually, with solid fuel appliance chimneys requiring biannual sweeping to prevent blockages or deposits, including potential bird nests.
