Application:
Engineered for compatibility with gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, this pipe supports temperatures up to 600 degree. It is designed explicitly for use as a connecting pipe between appliances and Flue Liners, Chimney Stacks, or Twin Wall Flue Systems. It’s crucial to note that the VIT-Smooth pipe is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.

Manufactured as a single skin connecting flue system, the VIT-Smooth pipe boasts zero carbon steel construction with a Powder vitreous enamel coating in an elegant matt black finish. This sturdy construction ensures suitability for diverse high-temperature applications.

Installation:
Maintain a minimum distance of 375mm between any section of the VIT-Smooth 1000mm pipe and combustible materials such as wood or plaster. Correct installation orientation mandates the smaller diameter to always point downward, ensuring condensates remain within the flue system. The friction-fit joint system negates the need for additional sealing. However, for added security, joints can be sealed using fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent condensate escape and preserve the pipe’s appearance.
