Fitting Advice
We recommend replacing the glass seal when fitting new stove glass to help ensure a proper seal between the glass and door.
When refitting the retaining clips, care should be taken not to overtighten the fixing screws.
The glass should be held securely in position but must not be clamped tightly, as it requires room to expand and contract during normal operation.
The glass must be allowed room to expand and contract during normal operation.
Overtightening the retaining clips can prevent this movement and, as the stove heats up, the expansion of the metal door and retaining clips will place pressure on the glass.
This will result in the glass cracking or breaking when the appliance is fired.
Delivery
All HD Stove Glass panels are carefully packaged to help minimise the risk of damage during transit.
Important Information
