MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

It serves at the top of the chimney pot, bearing the liner’s weight and secured to the flex using the standard jubilee fixing method (refer to installation instructions).

The MF20 MI-FLEX accessories offer a comprehensive suite of installation fittings designed specifically for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, ensuring a complete and efficient chimney system when fitted together.

Terminals play a vital role in preventing water, Vermin, and Birds from entering the flue. When installing a flue liner on an appliance lacking a condensate drain, fitting a terminal becomes imperative to halt excess water from passing through the system. Pot hanging cowls offer support for the vertical weight of the flue liner, requiring a structurally sound chimney with intact pots and appropriate flaunching at the stack’s top.

Regular cleaning and inspection, at least annually, are recommended to remove deposits or blockages that may accumulate, especially in chimneys serving solid fuel appliances.
