MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

Part of the MF20 MI-FLEX accessories range, meticulously designed for compatibility with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners, ensuring a complete chimney system when used together.
General Application:
Intended for use in tandem with MI-FLEX Multi-fuel flexible flue liners, adhering to Building Regulations Document J, requiring complete enclosure of flexible flue liners inside a masonry chimney. Suitable for appliances operating up to 600 degrees (T600 designation) and compatible with Wood.
Terminals:
The primary purpose of terminals is to prevent water ingress or Vermin/Birds into the flue. Essential for appliances lacking a condensate drain, terminals ensure excess water doesn’t pass through the system and reach the appliance. Pot hanging cowls provide vertical weight support for the flue liner and the chimney pot structure, demanding a sound chimney structure without cracks, with appropriate flaunching at the stack’s top.

Maintenance:
Chimney systems should facilitate easy sweeping and maintenance. Professional sweeping by competent individuals is crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. Avoid using chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys. Regular cleaning and inspection, at least annually, along with biannual sweeping for solid fuel appliances, ensure the removal of deposits and inspection for blockages or deposits like bird nets.
