The VIT-Smooth 1000mm Pipe with Door – 150mm presents a robust, rigid 1000mm pipe length, featuring a built-in access door, offering easy access for sweeping and maintaining the flue pipe, with an effective installed length of 945mm.

Application:
Designed for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600 degree. This pipe is exclusively intended for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Note: Unsuitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.

Construction:
Crafted from zero carbon steel, the VIT-Smooth 1000mm Pipe features a sturdy 1.2mm thickness and is coated with a 0.2mm Powder Vitreous Enamel finish in an elegant matte black. Compliant with EN1856-2 T600 N1 Vm L80120 G450 standards, it ensures durability and adherence to rigorous safety requirements.

Installation:
Maintain a minimum distance of 450mm from combustible materials such as wood or plasterboards during installation. Ensure correct orientation of the VIT-Smooth – the smaller diameter should always point downward to retain condensates within the flue system.
This friction-fit joint system does not require sealing. For additional security, joints may be coated with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent condensate leakage and maintain the pipe’s appearance. When cutting the system, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.

Maintenance:
Ensuring ease of chimney inspection and cleaning, the built-in access door on the VIT-Smooth 1000mm Pipe facilitates sweeping and maintenance, particularly crucial for solid fuel applications. Regular chimney sweeping and maintenance, at least once a year, is recommended for chimneys serving solid fuel appliances to ensure optimal performance.
