The VIT-Smooth 500mm 2 Part Adjustable Pipe – 150mm is a versatile telescopic pipe set, providing a usable length range of 565mm to 920mm, designed to bridge the gap between two fixed points in your flue system. These pipes offer full adjustability and include a securing clamp to firmly join the two parts together.

Application:
Perfectly suited for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances capable of withstanding temperatures up to 600 degree. Ideal for use exclusively as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Please note: Unsuitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.

Construction:
Crafted from zero carbon steel, this connecting flue system features a robust 1.2mm thickness and is coated with a durable 0.2mm Powder Vitreous Enamel finish in an elegant matte black. Compliant with EN1856-2 T600 N1 Vm L80120 G450 standards, ensuring reliability and safety.

Installation:
Maintain a minimum distance of 5mm from combustible materials like wood or plasterboards during installation. Ensure the correct orientation of the VIT-Smooth – the smaller diameter should always point downward to retain condensates within the flue system.
These pipes feature a friction-fit joint system and do not require joint sealing. However, for added security, consider applying a jointing compound like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent condensate leakage and maintain the pipe’s appearance. When cutting the system, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.

Maintenance:
