The VIT-Smooth Increaser – 125mm-150mm is a versatile adaptor facilitating seamless transitions within your flue system, allowing a smooth expansion from 125mm to 150mm in 25mm increments.

Application:
Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600 degree, the VIT-Smooth Increaser is designed exclusively for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Please note that it is not intended for use to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.

Construction:
Crafted from zero carbon steel with a robust 1.2mm thickness, the VIT-Smooth Increaser features a 0.2mm Powder Vitreous Enamel coating, finished in matte black. Compliant with EN1856-2 T600 N1 Vm L80120 G375 standards, this sturdy construction ensures durability and reliability.

Installation:
Maintain a minimum distance of 375mm from combustible materials like wood or plasterboards during installation. Correct orientation is crucial – ensure the smaller diameter of the VIT-Smooth Increaser is pointing downwards to retain condensates within the flue system.
Its friction-fit joint system doesn’t necessitate sealing. However, for additional assurance, joints can be coated with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to prevent condensate leakage and preserve the pipe’s appearance. When cutting the system, cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time. Always prioritize personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.

Maintenance:
Facilitate chimney inspection and cleaning by incorporating a VIT-Smooth Increaser with access doors at directional changes, particularly crucial for solid fuel applications. Regular sweeping and maintenance of chimneys serving solid fuel appliances are recommended at least once a year to ensure optimal functionality.
