Application:
Ideal for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600 degree, the VIT-Smooth Stove Adaptor is specifically designed to function as a connecting pipe between your appliance, Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Please note that it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls to maintain safety standards.

Construction:
Crafted from zero carbon steel, this adaptor boasts a 1.2mm steel thickness, coated with a 0.2mm Powder Vitreous Enamel for superior durability and longevity. Its matte black finish enhances both style and functionality while meeting EN1856-2 T600 N1 Vm L80120 G450 standards.

Installation:
Adhere to the 450mm distance requirement from combustible materials during installation, ensuring the safety of wood, plasterboards, and similar materials. Proper orientation matters – install the VIT-Smooth with the smaller diameter pointing downwards to contain all condensates within the flue system.
This friction-fit joint system doesn’t mandate sealing; however, for added security and to maintain aesthetics, joints can be coated with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant. Cutting the system should be done carefully, and any exposed steel should be protected with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during installation.

Maintenance:
Integrate access doors at directional changes to enable easy inspection and cleaning of the chimney, especially crucial for solid fuel applications. Regular chimney sweeping and maintenance, recommended at least once a year, ensures sustained efficiency and safety.
