MI-FLEX accessories is a family of installation fitting that have been perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When fitted in conjunction together It will make a full system chimney.
General Application
Theses items are to used in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi fuel flexible flue liner. Building Regulations Document J requires that a flexible flue liner can only be installed completely enclosed inside a masonry chimney. A non-masonry enclosure such as timber or plasterboard boxing in is not acceptable. All items are suitable for use on appliances up to 600 degrees (T600 designation). Suitable for use on Wood, Smokeless coal, Gas and oil.

A part of the MF20 MI-FLEX accessories, purposefully crafted to complement MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. Together, these accessories form a comprehensive and reliable chimney system when assembled.
General Application:
Engineered to work in conjunction with MI-FLEX Multi-fuel flexible flue liners, adhering to Building Regulations Document J specifications, ensuring that the flexible flue liner remains entirely enclosed within a masonry chimney. Suitable for a wide range of appliances operating at temperatures up to 600 degrees (T600 designation), including Wood.
Top Fixings:
The Top Insert Sleeve is part of the top fixings, playing a pivotal role in supporting the vertical weight (dead weight) of the flue liner. Prior to installation, it is imperative to ensure the chimney stack is fully weatherproofed, constructed soundly, and equipped with undamaged chimney pots and appropriate flaunching at the stack top.
Specific Application:
The Top Insert Sleeve – 150mm slides seamlessly inside the flexible chimney liner at the top of the installation. When used in tandem with the Top Plate and Top Clamp, it effectively supports the liner’s weight at the chimney stack pinnacle without compromising the flue liner’s integrity.
Maintenance:
To maintain optimal functionality, the chimney system must facilitate easy access for sweeping and maintenance conducted by competent professionals. Use of chemical cleaners or mild steel tools on stainless steel chimneys should be avoided at all times. Regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance should occur at least annually, with solid fuel chimneys ideally swept biannually to prevent deposits, blockages, or potential bird nests.
