TWPro Solid Firestop Plate is a non-ventilated Firestop plate that can only be used on installations burning gas or oil.
All TWPro fire stops are set at a 50mm to combustible distance.
A Firestop plate is used to allow the chimney to pass between floors, for example, when you need the chimney to go through the ceiling on the ground floor through to the first floor.
It is designed to provide the appropriate distance between the flue and the adjacent flammable materials, according to both fire and building regulations.
A plate must be used top and bottom of the floor penetration.
For use on solid fuel and gas/oil appliances.
