TWPro Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are secured together by using a Locking Band (supplied).
Make sure that you keep a distance of 50mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible material (wood, plaster board).

A Ventilated Firestop Plate serves to facilitate chimney passage between floors, allowing the chimney to pass through the ceiling from the ground floor to the first floor. This steel plate is designed to maintain the necessary distance between the flue and surrounding flammable materials, adhering to fire and building regulations. It’s essential to use a plate at both the top and bottom of the floor penetration.
Application: A ventilated firestop plate (T600) can be used for installations burning all fuels. All TWPro fire stops are set at a 50mm distance from combustible materials.
Construction: The Ventilated Firestop Plate is constructed using 316L Stainless Steel, 0.40mm thick for the inner material, and 304 Stainless Steel, also 0.40mm thick, for the outer material. This design ensures compliance with fire and building regulations, maintaining a safe distance between the flue and adjacent flammable materials. Distance to Combustibles: 50mm
